The GEMINI G2-CV-74 automatic lathe enables production of parts from coiled material.
The toolhead is a high precision mechanical ensemble used for turning and segmenting.

The constant profiled chisels are quick to sharpen and a simple fixing system ensures quick, precise installation. Axial and radial adjustment of the tools is carried out by means of micrometric screws.

The stationary counter-pliers grips the engineered part firmly and precisely, thereby enabling burr-free segments.

To facilitate access to the tools, guide bush and counter-pliers, the pliers rest plate can tilt upwards. In this position, space is made for fitting the 30-power-magnification
centering microscope to enable quick and precise positioning of the cutters.

The material is gripped between
two circular groove disks whose rotation carries out the feeding. The tightening pressure can be adjusted and the groove profile corresponds to the section of the wire to be machined to avoid any damage to the surface condition.

The independent straightening device is equipped with 4 adjustable rotating bushes and a movable central bush that, when it is pushed further than the rotor axis, induces rectification by curving the wire.

The CV-system allows variation of the camshaft speed during the work cycle: easy to use controls, shorter warming-up time, increased production, no more gearing to be changed and less mechanical wear parts.
Security devices

Stop the machine in case of:

- Drop of tension in electrical imput.

- Lack of oil in lubrication of toolhead.

- End material.

- Revolution decrease of toolhead.
